1. Data controller

2. Legal framework
This policy is governed by Article 15 of the Colombian Constitution, Statutory Law 1581 of 2012, Decree 1074 of 2015 (which incorporates Decree 1377 of 2013) and any amending regulations. Clinical records are kept and protected under Resolution 1995 of 1999, Law 2015 of 2020 and Law 35 of 1989 (dental ethics), which make them confidential.
3. Data we process
- Identification and contact data: name, ID, mobile number, email, city.
- Health data (sensitive data): medical history, diagnoses, diagnostic images, clinical photographs and treatments.
- Data of children and adolescents, with authorization from their legal guardian and in their best interest.
- Minimal browsing data needed for the website to work securely.
4. Purposes
- Managing appointment requests, confirmations and reminders.
- Providing dental services and keeping clinical records.
- Answering questions, requests and complaints.
- Invoicing and meeting legal, accounting and health-system obligations.
- Measuring satisfaction and improving service quality.
- With separate, express consent: publishing photos, videos or testimonials for informational or advertising purposes.
5. Sensitive data
Health data is sensitive. You are not required to authorize its processing beyond what is necessary to provide health care and keep your clinical record, as required by law. We never make any activity conditional on providing sensitive data that is not necessary.
6. Patient images and testimonials
Clinical photos, before-and-after cases and video testimonials are only published with the patient's (or legal guardian's) prior, express and informed consent. You may withdraw that consent at any time through the channels above, and we will remove the content from our own media within a reasonable time.
7. Your rights
As the data subject you may:
- Access, update and correct your data.
- Request proof of the authorization you gave.
- Be informed of how your data has been used.
- File complaints with Colombia's Superintendency of Industry and Commerce.
- Withdraw your authorization and request deletion when there is no legal or contractual duty to keep the data (for example, clinical records must be kept for the legal period).
- Access your data free of charge.
8. Inquiries and claims
You can exercise your rights by WhatsApp, phone or the requests form on this website. Inquiries are answered within 10 business days (extendable by 5) and claims within 15 business days (extendable by 8), under Articles 14 and 15 of Law 1581 of 2012.
9. Security and processors
We apply technical, human and administrative measures to protect your information. Some providers (for example, cloud hosting, messaging or clinical software) may process data on our behalf as processors, bound by confidentiality and security obligations; their servers may be located outside Colombia, in countries with adequate protection or under the safeguards required by law.
10. Validity
This policy is effective from its publication. Data is kept for as long as needed for the purposes above and for the periods required by law. Any material change will be published on this website.
